Céilí Picnic is a pop-up music festival taking place during the Fleadh Cheoil. After the success of Céilí Picnic at the Drogheda Fleadh in 2019, we are delighted to announce that Céilí Picnic returns for Fleadh Cheoil 2022 at the Newbury Hotel right in the heart of Mullingar. 

Céilí Picnic runs from Sunday, July 31 to Sunday, August 7. Our colourful and vibrant festival is aimed at music lovers seeking to experience the best of Irish Céilí, Trad, Folk, and Contemporary music over 8 memorable days.

After the last band, we also have our much-loved Silent Disco every night, where 3 DJs battle it out for your best dance moves until the wee hours.

 We have four exclusive ticket events to kick off Fleadh Cheoil 2022 with a stellar lineup of Irish talent, with The Bonny Men and Aindrias De Staic on opening day, July 31, followed by a double header of Paddy Casey & Emma Langford on Bank Holiday Monday, August 1. The magnificent Ryan Sheridan and Moxie on August 2, and Brídín and Kíla take to the stage on August 3. Tickets are limited so early booking is advised. We want all visitors to experience our friendly and safe festival environment during the Mullingar Fleadh.
